Barnwell's Apple House — Known for fresh, unwaxed apples straight from the tree. Great selection and helpful staff. Open daily 8am–5pm.
Heirloom Apples at Freeman Orchards — Award-winning heirloom varieties, generous sampling, and the best prices in the area according to many visitors. Open daily 9am–6pm.
J&M Farms — More of a full farm experience with apples, a BBQ food truck, live music, and a bar. Open year-round, Tue–Sun.
Coston Farm & Apple House — Apples, fried pies, apple fritters, a gift shop, and a kids' playground. Open daily 8:30am–6pm.
Jimmy Nix & Sons Apple House — Great apple variety including Korean pears, and famous for their fresh hand-rolled fried pies made on-site. Open daily 8:30am–5:30pm.
Apple House & Owenby Orchards — Family-run with great prices and a lovely sunflower patch. Open daily 8am–6pm.
Henderson Farms (in nearby Flat Rock) — Apples, peach cider, fresh produce, jams, and honey. Open Mon–Sat 8am–5pm.
Most of these are clustered along Chimney Rock Road — it's easy to visit several in one trip! Keep in mind that apple season typically runs late summer through fall, so availability may vary this time of year.
